[Event] Ag Commissioner Candidate Ricky Cole to Address Dems
[Verbatim Release] The Mississippi Democratic Club will host speaker Rickey Cole, Democratic Candidate for Commissioner Agriculture and Commerce, Saturday, at 9:45 am, May 12, 2007, at the Jackson Municipal Art Gallery, 839 North State Street. He will speak about the importance of Democratic wins in the upcoming Mississippi elections. Cole, a native of Ovett, and a seventh generation Mississippi farmer and scholar, is also expected to discuss the needs of Mississippi farmers and businesses.
The Mississippi Democratic Club was founded in 2004 for the purposes of advancing good government and Democratic principles. It has worked in the past to ensure election integrity, open records, and has sponsored debates between Democratic candidates for office.
The Municipal Art Gallery is located in the block South of the MS Baptist Medical Center. Entrance and parking is accessed from President Street at the rear of the Gallery.
